Wonderful family camping area located near the beach by Ringkøbing Fjord. New and newly renovated facilities are found all over, such as a family bathing room, sauna, maternity rooms, and more, with lovely playgrounds for kids as well and heated swimming pool. The location is near the fjord, which is one of the best surf and kite areas in northern Europe, both for beginners and experienced individuals. The fjord is also short distance from the new Skjern Creek National Park, which makes it a yearly hotbed for nature lovers and surfers.

Skaven Beach also has a small marina where you can buy fish from the local part-time fishermen. If one happens to be into fishing, then a plethora of opportunities awaits one; fishing lakes, the fjord and the North Sea are right nearby.
